My Top 5 Favorite Bands:

I like a variety of different bands but these are my top 5 favorites.

·         The Beatles: They are a very talented band, and I have a lot of respect for them. They had a huge impact on the musical world, and on society.  They are very well known and wrote a lot of excellent songs. They were musical geniuses and their music was revolutionary.

·         Pink Floyd: They have lots of interesting and creative music that has very interesting and thought provoking lyrics. They have a very unique sound and wrote a variety of different types of music. David Gilmour is also a very talented guitarist. They wrote the rock opera, the Wall, and are also well known for Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here.

·         Green Day: They are a socio-political punk rock band. They have very good melodies and catchy songs and interesting lyrics. They wrote two rock operas, American Idiot and 21^st Century Breakdown.

·         Metallica: They are a metal band. They are very good, and have interesting lyrics. Their songs are usually fairly heavy, both in music and in lyrics, but very good.

·         Nirvana: They are a very talented band. They wrote a lot of good songs. I just started listening to their music recently. I like them for the same reason I like all the other bands on here, because they wrote excellent music.
